This way you get amazing photos and the privacy you deserve. These sessions can be located anywhere, preferably somewhere outdoors with a view. Choose your favorite hike, lookout, or wooded location. Shouldn't your wedding day be about you and the one you love? Picture this, standing atop a lookout in the Southern San Juans, with forested hilltops in every direction, only yourselves (maybe even a few others to witness), what could be better? What’s an intimate wedding you ask? Well, it looks something between an Elopement and a Traditional Wedding. This is typically a perfect option for couples that love the idea of an Elopement but would also love to have their family present. These usually happen outdoors in a beautiful location that is easily accessed by guests. Intimate weddings usually baulk traditions that don’t work with the specific couple and take on more a unique feel. These weddings are a great way to add some personal style to your big day.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take to receive the photos?
We strive to deliver images as quickly as possible because we understand people want to share their wedding photos as soon as possible in this digital age. We deliver a “sneak peak” within a week of the wedding and deliver all the images within 2-4 weeks. We also send 3-4 images within 24 hours so you can share professional wedding photos to your friends and family right away! Too many photographers take 4-6 months to deliver images, we think this is one of our competitive advantages.
Are you two really up for adventure?
YES! We spend all of our free time outside or dreaming and planning our own adventures! Nothing would make us happier than to be able to share an amazing outdoor experience with new friends and capturing you and your love in your element! Whether that means waking up at 2am for an epic alpine sunrise hike, braving the 10 degree weather in the snowy mountains for ski engagement photos, or scrambling up peaks with heavy camera gear-filled backpacks. How many photos do you deliver? Are they edited?
We typically deliver about 100 photos per hour of shooting. That being said, every wedding/elopement is a little different. For instance, if you book a traditional wedding package of 8 hours, you’ll likely receive around 800 photos. We strive for our photos to tell a story of the day, capture candids of your guests, and will have you smiling from ear to ear as you relive the emotions on your wedding day. Each photo is edited and sent in an online gallery full of beautiful high-res digital photos with printing rights (and easy printing services straight from said gallery) that can be shared with your best friends and family.
Are you also wedding planners?
While we are not officially wedding planners, we have found that a lot of our couples (especially our elopements) do not need a planner because of how involved we are in the planning. We work alongside you to make sure your day is stress free and just the way you imagined. That means we are here to help you with permitting, location selection, location scouting, vendor recommendations, timeline creation, adventure ideas, travel advice,
We’ve never had pictures taken of us before, what if we’re awkward?
Every couple we’ve worked with has been in the same boat. So, don’t worry. First off, we don’t want the whole day to feel like it’s about the photos and instead we want it to be an experience for you to be present, have fun, and dote on your partner! We’ll give you easy starting prompts, asking you to move and interact together in ways that allow us to capture authentic moments that are a true reflection of you. From there, you’ll be having so much fun that you’ll probably forget that we're right there. At the end of the session, I promise you'll say "That was amazing! I didn’t realize how much fun that was going to be!” At least, that’s what we’ve heard from all of our couples so far!
Why two photographers?
Having two photographers may seem like a lot of manpower. However, this allows us to capture more creative photographs while ensuring we won’t ever “miss the shot.” Having both of us helps keep the day running smoothly. We can help gather people for family photos, be more attentive to details, pose more thoughtfully, etc.
